LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Hollywood Bowl has staged its share of unforgettable performances, yet this Friday’s “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl” is set to eclipse them all. Marking the 30th anniversary of the original animated classic, the live-to-film concert will premiere on Disney+ on February 7, 2025, promising an orchestra of 70 musicians, eye-catching projection work, and Broadway-level costumes and animatronic puppets. But that’s only half the story. In a move that has fans on the edge of their seats, Disney is releasing “Young Mufasa,” a new feature digging deeper into the saga of Pride Rock’s most famous ruler.
